Xebex Tri Screen 2 Monitors Malfunctioned out of the Box!

    Hey folks.
New here, not sure which thread is the correct one, so please go easy on a newb.
    I'm on a 2017 Thinkpad P50 - 20EQX50100
    Windows 10. Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1415).

I just bought these Xebex TriScreen 2 external monitors for my laptop, and am less than an hour into setup.

I had a lot of difficulty trying to get the monitors to respond correctly to the setup in my laptop's display settings.
Initially, they were powering on and mirroring my main display, but now both xebec monitors show nothing. When disconnecting and reconnecting the cables, they start up with the xebec logo then say "no signal." My display settings no longer detects any external monitors, and Windows has given me numerous error messages saying:

"USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows doe snot recognize it."

As mentioned, initially both xebec monitors powered on fine and mirrored my main display. So the problem is not a correct cable-connection issue.
My first problem was getting the laptop to configure the display settings at set-up, but now the real problem is the monitors are not working at all.
    "Malfunctioned"?

Does this mean my laptop killed them?
Or is there a more relieving solution to my problem?
    Thanks for your help.
