My external Dell UP2720Q 4k monitor has a refresh rate of 60Hz but my Windows 10 PC automatically sets a refresh rate of 59.997Hz as seen in Settings/System/Display. Should I leave that setting as is, or should I change it to 60Hz? Thanks

You can safely leave it as is.
This is mine... In Nvidia Control panel it says 60Hz.
I read about this option but it does not appear on my pc although I have free sync Samsung monitor but with 1060 GTX card so is the reason is my card ?

My monitor is an LG 24GM77. It is capable of refresh rates as high as 144hz.
Since the last time i formatted i can't switch to modes higher than 60hz.
I have the driver and i installed it.
Nvidia control panel recognizes the monitor model...
