    Windows HDR option make colors washed out


    Hi

    I had 3 HDR monitors and everytime I enable HDR option in Windows 10 I find the colors are washed out and bad and SDR mode is much better. Does HDR option really work in Windows ?

    Nope - HDR is terrible on Windows 10.

    To some degree this can be alleviated in decent media players (Such as potplayer), by enabling pixel shaders SMPTE ST 2084 and 2086. Leave HDR turned off in Windows. For gaming I have no idea.

    HDR on in win10 creates black flickering desktop panel in Oculus Airlink/Link.
    Turn it off.
