that looks good but maybe a different brand?
I see more than a few complaints, "doesn't work"
seeing that kind of review for several, interesting...
Thank you all!
I have notes for your comments and it is on my list for tomorrow...
thank you!
it can be confusing
I'm looking forward to having the two monitors set up
- - - Updated - - -
curious,
DisplayPort to HDMI 6 Feet Gold-Plated Cable, Avacon Display Port to HDMI Adapter Male to Male Black
says "1080P@60Hz"
my monitor shows 74.973 Hz refresh rate...
are those different qualities?
I tried looking it up but I don't know enough to phrase the question
I'm looking at new surge protectors too
is it safe to connect one surge protector to another? or, is that pointless?
never enough outlets and odd size plugs, sigh...
thank you all again for the help, 2nd monitor connected and working perfectly
this is so COOL!
so much easier to have all the extra desk top
silly I know, but I fee like a kid moving things back and forth between the screens
best new toy ;-)
So use the HDMI port on the both monitors.
One monitor will plug into the HDMI port on the computer using a cable with HDMI connectors on both ends.
The other monitor will plug into the Display port on the computer (marked "D") using a cable with an HDMI connector on one end and Display Port connector on the other end.
So do just as NavyLCDR said in post #2.
