    I think that is a wise decision, windows had never been the quickest to take on new variations in technology - what I suggest is to set a reminder for six months from now to check the progress of HDR support.

    Of course with Windows 11 now "spooling up" it may be an idea to check it's support for HDR, as it's a free update and may have better support, but there is a downside as the systems have changed quite a bit between Win10 & Win11 as have the hardware requirements

    Hi everyone..just to let you know I got HDR colour to work .
    simply swapped the input on the tv from HDMI 2 to HDMI 1.. also needed to disable the hdr colour on the TV..
    the resolution then changed on its own to 3840x2160 (recommended)
    and screen refresh rate changed to 30'000 Hz ..

    so all good...
