    It's actually DtsApo4Service.exe
which seems to be some asus related audio driver or something along those lines. Doubtful it's causing the screen issue though as people having that report aren't mentioning any display issues from my search.

    My typing error,using a "p" instead of "o".
Have you tried reseating the graphics card and checking the output cable and sockets ?Having to frequently operate the monitor power switch on only the one computer suggests a hardware problem in that system.
If possible, try and eliminate the recurring Dts error. The audio pages in ---dxdiag---might have a solution.

Your issue is very familiar to me, my Laptop does almost the same thing on Power On at around the same point.

In my case it is an Intel system and integrated chipset.

I have not sorted the problem as yet despite tackling it on and off for over two years. However as it only appears after a long power down and clears after about 5-10 min, hardly worth the effort as it works perfectly once the screen clears. It does not happen on a Restart or a short Power Down.

Looks like you have discovered the short Power Down way.
Your post #7 last image showing 3 Power Downs (Windows was not properly shut down).

All I can suss, it is something to do with the switch over from a generic video driver to the video drivers of your system (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) during the Power On and the latest versions of Windows 10. Approx from Oct 2018, my last note on the problem was Feb 2021.

I have looked at Reliability log, Bootup logs, Event Viewer, Diagnostic data, changed drivers etc to no avail.

DTS (DtsApo4Service.exe) has nothing to do with your problem or HP. It is an audio extension/add-on to your audio chipset. The PC or MOBO manufacturer may have put in this enhancement with the audio driver.
I see it is ASUS that includes it for those MOBOs as indicated by the audio drivers, a minor additional thing to look at.

DTS sound on mine can be uninstalled from Apps & features. It does not appear in dxdiag pages.

I mentioned that I ran DDU to completely reinstall drivers from scratch, and I used a WHQL version instead of the very latest for added stability. Before I did any of that though, I did also turn the system off and removed the GPU + used some compressed air to clean out the sockets + remove any dust I found inside, then reinstalled everything and made sure it was all well connected etc. Didn't help at all. With the system being less than or around 2 years old (I can't believe it's been 2 years already O.o) and having had no issues in the past I find it hard to believe it's a hardware issue right this minute and I'm leaning more towards software for now but anything's possible I suppose.

The thing is though, the shutdowns didn't really help. It was only after I started power cycling my monitor (not the PC itself) that it started coming back to life so to speak. Basically after logging into windows (without being able to see) I would turn my monitor off and then immediately back on. A little bit of the screen came back to life, a small sliver at the very top of the screen. Then I would do something and turn it (the monitor) off and back on again to get a refresh and noticed a little more of the screen came back and so on and so forth until after around 5 or 6 power cycles on the monitor the PC was working again. Then when I went to sleep I left the PC on all night but turned the monitor off so the light wouldn't bother me which is usually what I do before bed. The next morning I turned my monitor back on and the issue was back. I had to do the whole power cycle thing a few times to get it to come back. I haven't turned off my monitor ever since and it's been working fine but I'm pretty sure if I turn my monitor off over night again the issue will return which is why I've basically been sleeping with my monitor on the past couple of nights. :/

In post 1the monitor works fine when transferred to another pc.Are you able to also swap the graphics cards and conclusively prove that it is not a hardware issue, specifically the card?

After basically sleeping with my monitor on for the past week, I finally turned it off last night. Everything was working fine after turning it back on.

    Really strange.
