is there any way to reset the gpu order list within windows?

long story short, im running 2x gpus in my system to solve multiple issues. everything is working fine, and as intended - with one exception.

Problem - i had to run my 3090 is pcie slot 2, and my 1030 in pcie slot 1 due to clearance issues.

now that im in a new case, the cards are in their correct slots. but windows and Precision X1 keep detecting the cards as being in the wrong order. this isnt a real issue itself, as everything is running on my 3090 as it should be. with 2 exceptions - the screen saver runs on the 1030 for some reason, and i cant enable Rebar in Precision X1 because its detected the 1030 as gpu0, and the 3090 as gpu1.

ive run ddu and done a driver reinstall, rebooted the system with the 1030 removed, and disabled the 1030 in control panel. none of this has actually solved the issue. with the 1030 disabled/removed, the 3090 shows up as the first and only card as it should. but as soon as i reinstall/enable the 1030, it gets kicked back to being #2 on the list.

at this point im thinking there must be a registry key holding this info, and maybe if i delete it windows will re-write it witht the correct ordering. all so i can actually enable rebar.

    Hi Welcome to TenForums,

A good trick is. Deactivate all cards in device manager, except the one you want as card 0, reboot the computer and activate the one you want as 1 next reboot, etc... If your bios is Configured to have the right primary video card... it should fix you problem.
