    Nvrla?

I've recently come across this problem and i have no clue why its using so much of my CPU. Google search points me towards nvidia so i did the basic clean installation but its always there at start-up until I end the task. Feels like this happened after I installed the latest update so i rolled back to previous version but it keeps happening. Is there a fix for this? Overlay is off.

It seems to be a conflict between the iCue software and NVRLA.exe
I read through a ton of those posts. Most just rename NVRLA.exe to NVRLA.exe.old
    It located here: C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\FrameViewSDK\bin

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce...igh-cpu-temps/

I'm running the 442.74 driver, and I only install the Graphics, Physx and audio parts of the driver.
I don't have the FrameViewSDK folder at all.

You could also use the excellent Autoruns utility to stop Frameview from loading, think you can get the Sysinternals suite through the MS Store now which allows for auto updates, if you want that.

    Find Autoruns 13.98
They've done something weird with versions after 13.98. The later versions don't seem to work as well.
It's like the versions past 13.98 are gimped a bit.

Oh yeah. Autoruns can easily break your PC if used incorrectly.
If you decide to use Autoruns, under the Options, uncheck all but the top item. Like so...

Most of us on here use the free backup software Macrium Reflect.
Once you have a good full OS image backup, and the bootable rescue media... you can play all you want.

I am definitely avoiding this like the plague. I'm average pc user and i don't go beyond customisation. I learnt that mistake after using windows tweaker.
