    Macboatmaster:
I don’t think I have power supply issue,
I agree as I said on my post 3 when I found that your Dell should have the 525watt PSU

I also suggested the 1060 used by the person in the link I provided

I am convinced that your resolution problem is a problem with the available resolutions on the monitor and how the card is connected
VGA provides less resolution than for instance display port
    Indeed as you say
I wanted to have a backup computer, to minimize interruptions should I have a failure. My original computer had a Nvida quadro 600 card, which provided the 1920 x 1280 resolution for the monitor used with that computer.
I will leave you with the other people as tyring to folow advice from multiple sources is difficult

The only comment I would repeat is that you still seem to be hung up on the card not having the installation CD.
This is a matter of no importance on Windows 10.

To get 1920 x 1080 on a Quadro you need a refresh rate of 60hz
All details of resolution for the card in the release notes of the driver mentioned by my colleague
    here is 60 spec sheet

    Good luck with it.
