Monitor tells me Displayport has no signal

I have my system set up to turn off the display after 10 minutes of no activity. This used to work fine, but now the display turns off and then on again every few seconds just to tell me the displayport has no signal. I did not change the monitor and any other hardware.

I am using the latest Windows 10 Pro version 19043.1266 and the latest AMD video card driver.

Anyone know what is causing this problem?
    Thanks,
    Ak

    Update your Video Driver
    Try a different DP cable

The monitors I have owned went to sleep when there was no signal. I believe that's the usual way to send a monitor to sleep.

I guess that there is some unusual setting in your monitor. If you provide a model number, maybe we could check the online manual for settings.
