You can use the "Lookup" button on GPU-Z.

It did on my RTX 2070. When I clicked the "Lookup" button, it opened a link in my browser with the model number. And there are 8 different EVGA RTX 2070 vid cards.

I have a text file with all the model and serial numbers for all my computer parts. So I could check the model number in the "Lookup" page, against my list.

Ever since my first RMA... long ago... I started keeping the text file of all my comp parts... make/model/serial.
The serial number is always the first thing tech support asks for (to see if they HAVE to help you).

And it's no fun trying to read the serial numbers off components, while they are IN a computer. Much easier to do, before you install the part.
