"rotation lock" setting is greyed out and not available

This is on my Touchscreen Linx1010B Tablet device.

I cannot see how to change the Settings to allow me to Turn it on.

Your Suggestions are politely invited please?

Are you trying to turn on your device? Is there an on/off switch? That should work.

    Hello Andrew,

When the Rotate lock setting is grayed out, often you can rotate your display to be able to turn on or off.

I gave up on solving this directly and just installed iRotate instead. It puts a rotate control into the SysTray.

Thanks for the suggestions - I think maybe the whole Laptop is past it's best days - it is "temperamental" at the best of times -- I can change it by going into Settings and changing the orientation - but it does not change from the physical on/off switch or from rotating the device.

It is rather difficult manipulating it to take a screen shot - that for the ideas though.
