    NVIDIA driver update constant disk usage

    Has anyone noticed NVDisplay.Container.exe constantly writing to disk? This started happening on my system after updating driver to 471.68. I found the service "NVIDIA Display Container LS" and after disabling it, the disk activity stops. The bad part is the Nvidia control panel breaks.

    Currently found hacky soln from:
    NVIDIA Container exists even though I checked "remove driver telemetry" | TechPowerUp Forums
    And used the tutorial from Brink (many thanks!) to add winX xcut:
    Add Custom Shortcuts to Win+X Quick Link Menu in Windows 10

    Is there a better way to solve this without the need to disable the service and Nvidia control panel?

    I don't understand anything I'm just sharing the print screen with the same driver.

    Try setting the Nvidia display container LS service to start up type manual instead of the default automatic and see if that helps.

    @Pejole2165, thanks for the input!
    After setting the service as 'manual startup' the disk write activity doesn't occur. The NVIDIA control panel is still inoperable unless I manually start the service though.

    @MrBison, thanks for the info!
    It would be helpful if you select the Disco tab to see the gravação de disco (B/sec).
