    AMD Error 184

I tried to install new drivers for the AMD A8-6410 with Radeon R5 graphics, but I kept on getting error 184 - unsupported operating system. I did DDU in safe mode to clean out old drivers, but I keep getting the same error. I'm on Windows 10 64 bit version 1803. How will I be able to fix error 184?

Did you download the 32 bit (x86) drivers by mistake?

I'm a bit confused as to what drivers support the A8-6410, whether the latest (21.6.2) wwould be OK or whether you'd need "legacy" drivers. The safest course may be to use the latest driver from HP for your (unidentified) laptop.

I downloaded the 64 bit drivers.

    Which drivers?

It's unclear to me that 21.6.2 will support your graphics. If not, it's unfortunate that AMD doesn't provide a clearer error message.

May be the problem is with using an EOL build.
AMD possibly remove newer driver compatibility with old builds ?

Seems the solution may be upgrade to newer windows build first, then see if driver installs.
If MS no longer support your build, then app/driver devs. would most likely follow suit ?
