The vRAM on the video card is used for "drawing" what is on the screen. More vRAM for example, can drive a monitor with higher resolution.

EDGE uses regular RAM. Here's a fairly detailed explanation of RAM usage, by Microsoft Edge.

Yes but isn't that CPU going to bottleneck this system? I mean, a 4th gen is old and probably paired with DDR3.

Also the 750W does not sound a lot to me when having to power TWO powerful GPUs

I don't think they are meant to work like that. That setting is for notebooks having switchable graphics, with one's framebuffer routed through the other and both cards being highly customized by the manufacturer. This is not the case for you.

Instead you need to do SLI or something similar to make them work together if that is what you/re trying to achieve. If not, then you can just manually assign them to games and stuff.

only in very few selected games CPU bottleneck

for my current 60hz on 1920*1080 most games are smooth and always above 60-180 fps capacity

I will CPU when I get 4k Monitor
on current date CPU 4th gen i7-4770k is fine for FullHD
