AMD has just updated its chipset driver btw.

    AMD Chipset Software 2.17.25.506
@stormy13 gave me the link to those drivers several days ago. I've had them installed for about three days.

    I agree.

I was unable to quickly determine which actual chipset a "Promontory FCH" might be, to assure that I linked to the correct chipset installer.

I usually don't actively push that sort of update, but the latest drivers appear to have fixed an issue with my X570 board, where it failed to detect the graphics card when I awoke it after it had been in sleep mode for an extended period.
To respond to my own post, I just had a hang on graphics card detection during a wake from sleep. The latest AMD chipset drivers have not fixed the issue. It happens rarely, and usually after keeping the PC in sleep for a few hours or longer. It's no longer as scary as when it first happened. Seems to not mess up things on C: at all.

Exactly. Although I had the notice about drivers, everything worked fine, but it was a pain in the tookus to have to close that window every time I booted. No matter what I did within Windows, the silly notice hung around.

Also, when I clicked on Install, there was a "compatibility check" to make sure everything was correct.

What finally made the notice leave was that I uninstalled the Radeon Graphics drivers since my CPU didn't have onboard graphics. I then installed the latest chipset drivers for this motherboard.
