Which AMD Radeon graphics drivers are most stable?

I own a Radeon RX 550 GPU,and I would like to know which AMD Radeon graphics drivers are most stable for Win 10 64 bit?

The old Crimson or the new Adrenalin?

Please help me.

Always use the latest drivers if you bought a GPU for a desktop computer and download it directly from AMD.

Only use older drivers if you own a notebook computer, in which case download it from your computer's manufacturer, not from AMD.

My GPU is for a desktop PC.

I always use the latest driver that AMD supports, whether they are WHQL or not.

If stability is your main criterion, that may not be the wisest choice. However, the Crimson drivers are old.

AMD's latest drivers are listed for the RX 550. 21.4.1 is the conservative choice.

I also have a rx550 card and my colours get messed up as soon as I install a driver outside Windows Update newer than 27.20.1034.6 (Aug. 21th 2020).
I have tried both whql and non-whql drivers from AMD website. So I am pretty satisfied with the one picked up by Windows Update. It also offers an older one (from 2019) if you are having issues.

I also have a pair of RX 580's and I use the most current drivers from AMD with no problems.
