    2 monitors, change main

I have 2 monitors, I switched them physically a couple days.
they are like this in |display|
    1 2
this way when I go from 1 to 2 the mouse travels to the right, as opposed to me having to go LEFT to get to the rt monitor.

However, I want 2 to be 1 as far as start menu and taskbar goes.
How do I get 1 on the right and have the mouse L|R work correctly?

NOTE: regardless of whether display says its 1 | 2, or 2 | 1, when I click identify it always shows as 1 | 2

With Nvidia Control Panel set to only one monitor (BLUE dot), set "Show on only (1 or 2)" (RED dot) for where you want the Taskbar to show up.

With Nvidia Control Panel set with both monitors check marked... choose Extend (probably), at the RED dot.

    Settings > System > Display...
    2 monitors, change main-image1.png

To set which is Primary, I do it in Nvidia Control Panel.
Set it with both monitors check marked (enabled) then right click the one you want to be Primary and choose...

    Make Primary

You can also grab monitor 2, in Nvidia Control Panel, and drag it around to relocate it, with respect to monitor 1.
This determines which way the mouse leaves the Primary when going to the Secondary.

It's just a weird oversight by Microsoft. Notice how the two settings are different in the bottom rectangle, depending on the setting in the top rectangle...

Just by changing the top rectangle, I gain a "second" option in the bottom rectangle.

I had to ask about the taskbar thing, myself.

I'm just glad you had an Nvidia vid card.
