I have the GTX 750 ti installed on a Windows 7 machine that had various crash and hang problems after updating the driver.
After a lot of detective work and headaches, I found that the problem was audio drivers that I allowed to be installed along with the graphics driver during setup.
Big mistake.
Check sound under device manager and see if there are HD audio devices installed.
Uninstalling them was easy but KEEPING them uninstalled was a nightmare.
I don’t remember the process I was lucky enough to find online but eventually did and it solved the problem.
I’ve learned NEVER to use Express Install EVER. It’s never your friend.
