    I prefer Intel 9.17.10.4459 and AMD 14.8.

15.7 is not recommended because it consumes more battery since ULPS is dsabled.

Driver is mainly for stability. Tell me if any performance issues.

Hello! I have an HP DV6 6b30ew with Intel HD Graphics 3000 and a Radeon 6490m with Windows 11 installed. I've already tried a bunch of drivers, but I just can't use Radeon in games or applications. On Xbox Game Bar, it shows GPU load at 0%, while it shows the total amount of video card memory. In the same emulator, PPSSPP shows when Direct3D 11 is selected - Intel HD Graphics 3000 and Microsoft Basic Render Driver. I've already broken my head on how to make this thing work. I set both Fixed and Dynamic in the BIOS - no sense. Trouble with Windows 11 or drivers?

Our laptops are completely incompatible with Windows 11. Main problem is windows 11 requires WDDM 2.0 drivers which intel and amd driver doesnt have it.

Indeed, on Windows 10, your drivers work perfectly as they should. Thanks for your work and quick response, you saved my nervous cells 😂👍

The whole thing was that I was updated to Windows 11 with Windows 10 for developer prewiev. Reinstalled Win 10, did not enter the preview program, updated to 11 and everything is OK with Intel / AMD graphics.
But thanks for help, I did not want to return to Windows 7 😂🔨

    Hello Mozin,

Firstly, thank you for taking the initiative on this project, and helping us upkeep our VERY old laptops. I really appreciate it.

I installed your drivers successfully. Both drivers are enabled, and running without any issues according to Windows device manager. However the issue is, Windows is not recognizing the GPU, and neither is any game that I play. It is only recognizing Intel HD 3000, even though the Radeon driver is installed properly.

Can you please help me understand how this could be fixed?

Drivers installed right now: 9.17.10.4459 and Catalyst 15.7 (15.301.1301.0000) (also previously tried Catalyst 14.8 (14.200.0000.0000) but no luck)

    Additional info:
    - all drivers old drivers were uninstalled by DDU in safe mode.
    - test mode was enabled during the installation process through the scripts provided by you
    - did a restart for each driver installation or uninstallation.
    - automatic windows driver installation was disabled
    - this is not a hardware issue as i was using amd gpu in windows 7.

As it turned out later, I have exactly the same problem. At least the PPSSPP emulator does not see my Radeon HD 6490M. I tried all versions of drivers from Mozin and from LeshKatLabs - nothing helped.

The only correct solution to make everything work as it should is to install native Windows 7 or 8.1 for our old laptops Well, or put up with non-working discrete graphics and heating in light tasks on Windows 10-11. Only a complete disabling of discrete graphics in the modified BIOS menu can save the laptop from overheating of discrete graphics and it will stop making noise.

On Windows 10 or 11, my laptop made a very loud noise even when working in the browser, I thought that this was the norm, but after installing Windows 7, I realized that this was a problem.

While you still have the opportunity, download all the drivers from the HP website so that in the future you will always have at hand all the official drivers for the version of Windows you need.

We never had official drivers from HP for Windows 10. AMD drivers do not work. Our laptops are doomed and always stay trapped in Windows 7-8.1.

Everyone who undertook to make their own drivers for our laptops left this disastrous business and stopped supporting it, since it is very difficult and not profitable.

Whom to blame - decide for yourself. For me, everyone is to blame, both HP and AMD. Since all laptops with NVIDIA graphics work perfectly on any version of Windows and there have never been problems with it...

Hey I got a Dell M4600, I can't find "Dynamic Mode" in the bios.

My system has a 6700m (firepro M5950) and is running Windows 10, the install completes with warnings, it says it passed all installs but webgl-water from madebyevan runs at 2fps and the control center doesn't open.
On 14.x the control center isn't even on the right click.

If I get the 15.7 to work I can actually use this laptop for VR development, no kidding

Edit: I just tried going into safe mode, DDU'ing, reboot into safe mode and install the driver but this time I get the error "Failed to load detection driver"
While the setup passed that part in non-safe mode
