    Dual Monitors Set up

    Hi All,
HI hope someone could help me with this and explain to me what to do in the easy way.

I have HP computer with windows 10 Version 1909( 18363.1440) . I used 2 monitors one Dell ( plugged via HDMI) and one Samsung (connected via VDI) and this set up worked for me just great. However, my monitors started going bad and since I am photographer and color accuracy is very important to m I decided to purchase two identical ASUS monitors.
They arrived yesterday and even if the life depended on it I can not make both monitors work.

1/ They came with HDMI and mini display port cable. They should also work DVI. Only one of them works when connected via HDMI. Neither of them works with any other cable.

    2/ All drivers are updates

3/ I can connect my old monitor with VDI cable and ASUS monitor with HDMI and they both work, however two ASUS monitors don't

4/ Now the Windows went crazy and thinks I have two monitors even if I unplug 2nd monitor and I can't do my work because some windows show on the monitor that is not connected and I can't see them.

What should install, or install or update to make it work?

    Thank you,
    Sylwia

State brand and model of your GPU and also model of Asus screen .

Please be aware that if you have a built in GPU with built in output ports but then a high performance GPU plugged in PCI-e with different ports , then you can't just mix and match the cables to this and that , you have to plug them all to the PCI-e GPU , if you are missing enough ports then this might be the issue .

I found the problem. My graphic card was not able to handle those two monitors. Once I lowered the resolution on one of them they both started working. It looks like I need to purchase new card.

    Thank you!
