I tried all and nothing works. I really need this. Is there really no way to turn monitor off when computer start and show login page?
I am not at all sure what you have tried.
1 Did you try putting a shortcut in your startup folder containing the NirCmd I described in post #6?C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
- And you should test that shortcut now [even though your are logged in to Windows 10] to make sure you have written the shortcut correctly.
2 Did you try running that command from Task scheduler with these settings?- Trigger - Startup
- General tab entries: your own username, Run whether user is logged on or not
- Not using the System user
- Not using Run with highest privileges
- And you should test that task now [even though you are logged in to Windows 10] to make sure you have written the task correctly.- To test it - run Task scheduler, select the task then right-click & select Run.
If neither of these work then I think you will not find a solution other than not turning the computer on until you need it. Why do you turn it on earlier than that?
