How to force Windows to Rediscover Monitors
Whenever Windows sees a new monitor it adds it to the end of the current configuration. However, this doesn't change the current configuration. To force Windows to configure monitors properly if the numbers aren't correct, you need to delete these two registry keys, and then add the monitors one at a time.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity
In Nvidia Control Panel, set it so there is only one display, the LG E1940, then...
1. Unhook the HDMI cable from the back of the vid card.
2. Delete both of those registry keys.
3. Reboot the computer.
4. Now, plug the HDMI cable back into the vid card.
Hopefully the LG E1940 will now be the #1 display, and hopefully, that will fix the problem you are having when you clone the displays.
IF you can't see anything on the LG E1940, then just plug the HDMI cable back in, because the image will be on the TV. :/
Deleting those registry keys, won't hurt anything. They are just how Windows 10 remembers which display is #1 and which is #2.
