    weird screen reconnecting issue.

hi all. i got a realy strange issue.

my screen randomly turns off/on again. but it does not happen when im in the BIOS or when im ingame...(call of duty 2)

    hardware: samsung p2770fd
    gpu NVIDIA geforce gt630
    32 gb ram i73770k

    i run windows 10 pro.

    things i have tryed:
    use DVI instead of HDMI
different GPU card (ATI r9 270)
change the refresh rate of the screen from 60 hrz to 56 hertz.
it happens every few mins. screen goes off and on again.
i searched the system logs for anything weird but did not found anything.
im pretty sure it must be a software issue since it does hot happen when im ingame.....

Please let me know if you have any advice

Isn't the game also software running on Windows?

I had an unusual issue with a client's monitor, the power cord would loosen contact with its socket, replug and worked fine but intermittently, replaced the monitor.

hi Burton. Yes the game is ofcrouse also software running on windows. but i suspect maby some other windows settings or something.

since in windows i cant go 5 mins without having the issue. but playing call of duty for 1.5 hours goes fine. Allways. i Never had it once im ingame. and in windows every 1/2 minutes. thats why i think maby its not an hardware issue.

Try Safe Mode to see issue resolves.

Boot your computer with Hiren's BootCD PE to check if issue resolves also have you check the cable for fault.

    You need a new monitor.
