    Hooking up dual monitors

System Windows 10 Home 64 bit
I'm trying to hook dual monitors to my system. One monitor is a reasonably new BenQ hooked to the desktop with an HDMI cable. The other monitor is a an older Acer hooked to the desktop with a VGA cable. Setup works except for one problem. I want the BenQ as my #1 and it shows #2 with the Acer as #1. I've tried all the tutorials I can find and nothing works. Can anyone help me please?

    Welcome to TenForums.

You never indicated exactly WHAT in the tutorials you were following wasn't working, so let's do this:

I'm going to throw another tutorial your way (link below). Review and follow that tutorial. If something is not working, please indicate exactly where in the tutorial it is not behaving as you expect and clearly indicate what is happening instead of the expected results.

I would also appreciate if you could fill out the details of your system in your profile so that those of us reviewing your post know what kind of hardware we are dealing with.

    Thanks!

Hello mzsfjv, and welcome to Ten Forums.

In addition, if you're wanting to make one of the displays your main display, you could see if an option in the tutorial below may help.
