I like Nvidia better drivers over all.. most of the time.. lol
    I rock a EVGA/Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti 8GB...

my only issue with it is that the fans on it only power up after the temperature reaches 60°C I think...
so I use the EVGA Precision XOC tool software to manually set the fan speed to 75% each boot up of Windows 10...

otherwise I don't have any issues.
I use a 5:4 19" DELL ultrasharp using a DVI interface cable... no issues so far...
the gfx card supports according to the box 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPorts and 1 DVI port...

as for newer gfx cards I have heard people having issues with using DP (DisplayPort)...

What do you have for a monitor and cable being used with your integrated graphics?
What are you using for a power supply?

Are you planning to play video games with your new PC build?

650 Watt psu might not be enough...
your psu specs mention 54 amps of 12v so it might or might not be enough for a gfx card ...

I would say 850 watt or higher..
I have a 1250 Watt Thermaltake toughpower psu... its over kill but I like it.. lol

the real issue how much do u wanna spend under for a gfx card..?

Not really much of a gamer but I do sometimes.
I can change the Psu if required.
I was planning on a budget of 400 Pounds for the graphics card.
Thank you for your help Melchoir

    so 400 British pounds...
    that is $542.76 US Dollars
that should be enough for a decent older gfx card... you won't afford a 20xx or 30xx gfx card for that but.
you should be able to get an older Nvidia/EVGA card for that much..

Your motherboard should take any PCI-E X16 garphics card. Your PSU has two 8 pin (6+2) PCI-E auxiliary power connectors, plus one 6 pin. A 650W PSU may not be adequate for a monster like an nVidia RTX 3090, but should be OK for most.

Unfortunately, this is a bad time to buy a midrange and higher card. I would have recommended an nVidia "Turing" card like a GTX 1660ti, but good luck finding one that isn't being sold by resellers (also know as scalpers). It's not just the latest lines (nVidia RTX 3000 series, AMD Radeon 6000 series) that are scarce, but the previous generation of cards are hard to get too.

You have a few choices. One is to continue using your onbaord graphics, in the hope that things will improve in a month or three. Another is to buy a stopgap card that is currently available, with the intention of replacing it when the market opens up again. The third option is to buy a card from a reseller, typically at a 50% or higher markup over MSRP.

    Good luck with your choice.

Thank you for your replies Melchoir and bobkn.

The system is running fine on integrated graphics, I will just wait and see what is available in the near future.

All the hardware was purchased on Amazon.
