Depends what you want to do with it. Will your laptop actually use the Nvidia card? I bought a laptop with one, and find it's never actually used. If you do something that requires intensive graphics processing (think gaming) then it's a real consideration. Most laptops have some sort of integrated graphics e.g. Intel HD graphics - more basic, but covers e.g. typical office type usage.

I find my graphics card is never used- the Nvidia algorithm seems to ensure that.

Your decision has to be based on your expected usage.

Like @dalchina, I too have a laptop with an NVidia Geforce MX150 that is almost never used. It depends on what you plan on doing with the laptop.

Get the rtx2070 if you use your laptop for serious gaming or video/ graphics editing work else gtx1650
    is more than enough.

The RTX 2070 and GTX 1650ti are both "Turing" GPUs, but the 1650ti lacks the ray tracing hardware. Even aside from that, the 2070 is a much higher performance processor.

If you want to play games on the laptop, the 2070 would be the clear choice. If you just want to do web browsing, email, etc., getting a laptop with a discrete GPU, rather than an integrated processor, could be a waste.

thank you for your comments. I'm not a gamer. The games I play from time to time are not heavy. What I want to do most is video editing once I transfer the videos from my cam just cut and edit what I want to keep
