    Wrong Graphic Memory Clock

    Hello everyone,
I have notice that my Maximum Memory clock is 6000mhz rather than 12000mhz according to Passmark.com benchmark. No matter what l do, memory clock does not go over 6000mhz. I have MSI GTX 1650 Super Ventus XS OC Edition.
Please help me figure out this problem thx. I suspect that affect my fps. Last but not least, graphic card does not show RPM speed of fan operating. thanks

I forget to mention that Graphic card its been always like that and OS build is 19041.572

I'm not sure how to check this, but some utilities report the actual memory clock ferquency, rather than the effective DDR (double data rate) frequency. DDR can access the memory twice per clock tick, on the rising and falling edges of the tick.

So does that mean its 6000mhz X 2 = 12000mhz ? and what about fan RPM, no program is reading RPM data at all.

What does your bios show the RAM as? What does this Powershell script show? Get-CimInstance -Class CIM_PhysicalMemory -ComputerName localhost -ErrorAction Stop | Select-Object *

Is that for the PC's RAM or the video memory on the card?

I presume that it's for the PC RAM. "PressF5" was concerned with video RAM. (12000 MHz is a dead giveway.)

I'm unfamilar with powershell commands. I tried a copy & paste on it. Didn't work.

For system info. The OP needs to understand that the GPU card and system can adjust clock speeds for RAM, CPU, GPU depending on the working load and non-working load, along with if either the GPU or system is being overclocked. The Geforce 1650 Super is rated at 12gbps for RAM due to the design. That would be in a equal system that was used for testing to get those same real world results.

You don't have a problem. Just that your display is clock frequency.

The Graphics Card memory is DDR (double data rate) i.e. double the clock frequency. MSI quote 12 Gbps which is double the clock frequency, that is correct.

MSI Afterburner display is rather confusing, but the fact the Card is running at 300 MHz clock and the fan at 23% and a temperature of 33°C means it is at idle, and just running something mundane like Windows.
The 1% GPU usage at the bottom is what you should look at.

No worries when it needs to the GPU will run much higher clocks, and when it gets hotter the fan will of course rev up.
    That is normal operation.

Don't MSI give you more info with the "i" button ?

MSI have decided to display Fan Speed as a percentage of max rather than rpm. Does it matter what it actually is.

Thanks for everyone for helping me and sorry for late response due to exams are going on.
    1. @ Bro67, I am not sure why would you ask for RAM because its Graphic card section and its about Graphic card memory clock. I tried to run that command with Admin rights nothing seems to working.

    2. @bobkn, as my title says "Wrong Graphic Memory Clock" so its about Graphic memory. I did not said RAM or Random access memory in title. "I presume that it's for the PC RAM."

    3. @Helmut, Here "i" from MSI

Task Manager`s Performance tab will show you some other GPU specs. Your memory speed is shown as 12000 Gbps which is 6000 Gbps doubled. It uses GDDR6, which is, as mentioned, double data rate.

Your memory speed is correct and your fan speed is shown as a percentage, not a actual RPM, if you move the slider to the right, you will see the % go up, along with the fan noise

You can set your fan percentage to whatever you want before you start gaming, or you can let Afterburner do it on its own.
