I think i found a way to make it work.
If I install driver 2993 and then install this driver without uninstalling 2993 it seems to work.

The issue you have is uncommon and unclear , I can not help with terms like "there is no acceleration" / "sleep button is missing" / "it is installed but not using it" then the miraculous solution becomes to install a broken driver then this driver so now it is using it ? using what exactly ?

I do not recommend your method until it is even understandable .

What same problem , can you describe the problem in a clearer way ? mind you how are you two able to install 2993 without it being signed for windows 10 ?

Right. I did not have much time, but I carefully researched the behavior and possibilities of installing the mod. drivers on my three laptops that have same configuration - Intel Core i3 350M processor.
1. I successfully installed this driver on Windows 11.
2. On Windows 10 i had an error in dxdiag like the guy above, and the system interface works with the help of a CPU, it feels like a regular basic Microsoft video adapter.
3. On Windows 7 i could not install that mod. driver in any way.

On Windows 11 you just need the original driver (of any version), after that you can install (over) the already modified driver without problems. I didn't forgot any "Test mode", disabled driver signature etc btw.
GUI effects, YouTube video acceleration and games work well, such as Intel Graphics Control Panel. Haven't noticed any instability yet.
Other methods like "installing an old device" by .inf-file, and updating the driver from a folder in the Device Manager do not work on any of Microsoft Windows versions.

While this is informative , our pace varies between 2 weeks to 1 month a part between posts and reply , if you are able to dedicate yourself for few days in a row (agree in a post first) I might schedule with you trying few betas to see which one suites 1st generation of HD better

I am also willing to try this, i will look how to enable mail notifications for all messages if possible.
Would be great if we can make a group or something on discord/telegram or whatever, i can test several drivers in a row no problem.

Thanks nIGHTmAYOR for creating this driver! It's the only driver that works on my old Dell Latitude E5510 without causing the laptop to lock up or flicker.
