Hey, I wanted to install this driver on my GMA 4500MHD [It's old I know], but when I try and run the second batch file (of course, with admin) it tells me
    Code:
The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit.
Do you know the reason for this or is it just my laptop being stupid? EDIT: I restarted my laptop a bunch and the resolution went weird and it worked. Although, I'm stuck about a third through step 2.

Does it usually get stuck about 1/3 through step 2? I am going to leave it, but I can't turn my laptop off because the desktop is weird, and I can't open anything from it atm.

I went to my restore point and tried again once more, this time with everything else closed. It worked! Thank you for making this, it will definitely come in handy!

Hello!I tried to install it but when it comes to the second the computer restarts and no longer responds, and I can't log in. I've tried to use scannow before installing and still have the problem

second step is driver installation , at what phase the computer restarts ? during or after installation ?

after installation, the computer has a black screen or gives a blue screen error
I checked the drivers in the manager and it is showing that it has two wddm driver with a ! icon too
i've tried to use scannow too

remaining at wddm means that either you do not run the steps as administrator or that you do not restart when implied by any of the steps .
but also I would like you to find and paste your gpu device id to cross check if this is actually the gma 4500 or a different variant .

I have been using your Intel 4500 M custom driver for 2 years.

I have really appreciated you for customizing that driver individually.

Pardon me but, is there any chance to increase my dedicated video memory which is currently 128Mb?

Also, my total available graphics memory is 1759Mb but literally, I cannot use up that total amount for my graphics card.

Okay to be honest currently I really do not have a chance to buy a newer laptop so I need to figure some more trick for my old-ass tiny graphics card.

I am really sorry for interrupting you but do I have any chance for that, please?

I would be considerably happy if you can help me out...

    Thanks.

    My device specs:

    Lenovo R500
    2.67 GHz Intel P8800
    8 GB Ram

Dedicating 128 MBs was the max available tweak for this line of cards due to memory cap at this time being around 3 GBs of Ram .

Now for the HD family line of cards , max available tweak is 512 MBs , but only available for those who have 8 GBs systems .

I doubt HD trick works for the M GPUs but I will test it next time this laptop is made available , or you can speed up the process by trying out this guide and see if it works and report back with screen shots on before and after applying that trick : How to Increase Dedicated Video RAM on Windows Laptops with Intel Graphics

About shared memory , I have tested thoroughly and this is as high as made possible , however bare in mind that amount is not deducted from RAM on assigning , but only the amount consumed of it is , so you need not be worried about that figure .

Now consumption of graphics memory depends on the game / program utilizing it , so if its a GPU intensive game with lots of textures it may fill up that amount of shared memory .

I don't know how much I can thank you.

Although I tried the method in the link you shared, unfortunately I could not go higher than 128mb.

Even though it does not seem possible to increase this, I am very happy that you will try again if it is possible to increase that value...

I hope you have a good day and thank you again...

That will be really great for my MatLab engineering program if it could be increased to 512mb... Ah... even dreaming about its possibility makes me happy...

Hey! I have an MSI G41M-P26 (Intel GMA 4500) board, when the native driver is installed, games work (Valve, CS: GO, Portal), and displays a black screen with the mod. What to do? Thanks for the windows 10 driver.
