New Windows 11 on the road

I will add that in Windows 11, the Intel HD Graphics Arrandale (1st gen, I7-640M) works just as smoothly and perfectly, despite the long-term end of support. For HD Graphics 3000 this one will not be a problem for real .
I won’t still update my laptop with HD Graphics 3000 (i7-2620M) to Windows 11 yet, because the update (which has not yet been officially released) does not support saving files and programs.
How were you even able to setup windows 11 in absence of TPM support on 1st to 5th gen of Intel CPUs ?

I then updated Windows 10 without saving any files/programs to leaked build 21996.1 of Windows 11 from internet by replacing one file in .iso image. Most likely there will be a bypass for new build or because of criticism Microsoft will soften the system requirements (my opinion).
(By the way, on my modern laptop that meets all the requirements - an Windows-insider build 22000.51 came here, I updated from 21996.1, that means leaked build i used it was not a fake)

Well I gather up till now we do not have a solid proof windows 11 will support such hardware in first place for setup so i am surprised you are quite sure they will support its graphics drivers :))

you should run the steps as an administrator . if you still have problems remove previous driver via DDU while unplugged from internet . and no it just gives performance gain . i havent manipulated it other than that .

I have tried it out on Windows 7, on an i5-2400, and can confirm that it drastically improved OpenGL performance* in the open source FPS game: Cube 2: Sauerbraten.
*compared to latest driver on Intel's site

the OP forgot to mention in the very first post that Win10 users must disable driver signature enforcement first, before attempting to install the driver with Admin rights.

otherwise Win10 will automatically block the installation of the unsigned driver with the modded/edited inf file and NOT encounter the red dialog box with the "install this driver software anyway" option

The OP asked you to run setup steps found in folder in exact order which manage to take care of everything without you having to go through that hassle .

P.S There had been thousands of successful installations , how do you think normal users managed without that tip ?

Excellent work my friend, just wanted to ask if this driver will be compatible with the new windows 11? A few days ago I have been testing it and the change in performance compared to the official drivers is incredible !

If a way is found to let our pcs work with windows 11 in absence of TPM processors in first place , i'll find a way to port it over do not worry .
