Has anybody else noticed problems playing DRM content since updating to the latest Nvidia Geforce v456 drivers?
A few catch up TV programs I use now refuse to play anything due to DRM errors. I see Nvidia released a new driver today and I have tried that but I have the same issue.
Also, if I go into Nvidia Control Panel, it says my display does not support HDCP. I'm sure it should do. Has anyone else got this issue?

Have you ever been able to play content that required HDCP? Which PC do you refer to?
The Acer R241Y and the nVidia GTX 660ti both are claimed to support HDCP. I believe you'd need to use the HDMI interface to get that.
I believe that the Acer Aspire V5-571 also does HDCP.
On my primary system, the latest nVidia drivers (456.55) allow HD playback. That's with a Zone 1 BluRay on a US system.
Perhaps you can supply more detail about your problem.
Larc919, I use an app called "All4" for watching Channel 4 programs. Since updating the drivers to v456.xx, the app has stopped playing videos and throws up a DRM error. Here it is:
Bobkn, yes I have been able to play this content before, and I'm pretty certain that the Nvidia Control Panel HDCP screen used to say it was capable. I am referring to system one, my desktop PC. I am using a DVI cable, and have been for many years, but sure it has been fine before.

I'm in the US, so I have no familiarity with the BBC, or software used to play their content.
On my newer gtx 1650, when I click on a youtube vid, the screen goes dark for two seconds and comes back on. The colors become too vivid with too much contrast. Then I have to restart my computer to reset the color and contrast. So I went back to 452, works fine now.
I've just gone back to the v452 drivers so thought I'd just update the thread, and turns out HDCP was enabled just as I thought:
Now reads as my card and display being capable and the videos on my All4 app now play just fine. Very odd.
