    NVLink 2080ti's vs 3080 or 3090?

I've already got a 2080ti and I've heard NVlinked they would out perform the 3090 or at least be very close in performance.

I do understand it's best to stick to one GPU so in that case waiting for the rumored 3080ti's would be a safe bet since the 3090 only outdoes the 3080 by 15% which isn't worth the extra $700.

    What's your opinions?

I'm not sure how much these benchmarks are worth, but UserBenchmark: Nvidia RTX 2080 vs 3080 UserBenchmark: Nvidia RTX 2080-Ti vs 3080

These show that the 3080's incremental performance improvement over the 2080ti is relatively small. Over the 2080, it's much more significant.

Anyone care to buy a 900 series (Maxwell) Titan X? I'd be willing to sacrifice it at half its original MSRP.

I`m never selling my EVGA 980 Ti SC`d cards, I got them directly from EVGA and they`ve never once given me a problem, and they still look awesome

I too am thinking of getting a EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra for my X299, but it has a great 2080 Ti already, so it`s something I`m pondering.

I think I`ll sell my Nvidia 1080 Ti Founder`s Edition cards, I`m just not using them.

I will never part with them

NVIDIA SLI Support Transitioning to Native Game Integrations | NVIDIA

With the emergence of low level graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan, game developers are able to implement SLI support natively within the game itself instead of relying upon a SLI driver profile. The expertise of the game developer within their own code allows them to achieve the best possible performance from multiple GPUs. As a result, NVIDIA will no longer be adding new SLI driver profiles on RTX 20 Series and earlier GPUs starting on January 1st, 2021. Instead, we will focus efforts on supporting developers to implement SLI natively inside the games. We believe this will provide the best performance for SLI users.

Correct me of I'm wrong but isn't NVlink different from SLI?

    Interesting, but annoying.

I don't pretend to understand the differences between the single NVlink connector on the RTX 2080ti vs. two on the Quadro.

Wait a minute, hold up... So games will automatically pickup on dual gpus and it won't be a bad thing to NVlink? Does that mean it's better to have two cards?

Look at it this way, that is a lot of money to throw away for a handful of games that might support mGPU.
