screen lines
when i went to update to latest windows 10 2004 it installed it ok but then my screen had all different lines across it! as if the screen had broke! it aborted and got this error code appear 0xc1900101

What version of Win10 is installed now?
"it installed OK", or "it aborted". I'm confused.

OK. How were you doing the update? Windows Update or a download?
A couple of semi-random suggestions:
From a command line window run as administrator, run sfc/scannow. (System file checker.)
Use the MCT (media creation tool) to download the .iso (rather than creating a bootable medium). Mount the .iso (just open it using Windows Explorer), and run the update from that virtual drive.

Try to install latest drivers before upgrading, like:
Downloads for Intel(R) Iris(R) Graphics 5100
Then again, better to wait for 2009, it will fix many issues.

Unplug the USB mat cooler if using one of those, it probably has a USB hub! Even when not 100 percent if that was the same error code I had on the now-banned (for blatant CSME integrity violation)
(The Intel CSME checking tool failed it) MSI GF63 Thin laptop when I first tried to install 1909, IIRC. I thought it was that error code, but may be wrong.
But, I didn't have lines on my screen. Your problem sounds much more serious!
