    My monitor goes black

    Hi

I have two monitors and my primary monitor (144Hz) goes into black screen at random times but my secondary monitor (60Hz) never does. I have AMD PC with x570 motherboard and CPU 3800x , 5700 GPU. I have radeon driver updated to last version. Is there any solution to this ? I am ready to try anything.

    Thanks

Does the monitor have a separate sleep setting?
    Have you checked the connections?

No sleep settings. When I was having Intel/nvidia card the monitor never does this. I only moved to AMD from 6 months.

Then it may be connection problems.
Have you tried swapping over the monitors to see if the same happens to the other monitor? That would give an indication as to whether it’s the monitor or graphics or cable/connections.

So when you swapped connections/graphics/monitor the same monitor still went to sleep?
I’d say the problem is with the monitor. Try turning the sleep setting on & set to a time longer than it would usually go off, see if it works & then turn the setting off & see what happens.

What about sleep settings under power?

Ok thanks. Sleep settings in Windows are set to 15 min. I tried also to set it to never.

The settings inWindows may only affect the main monitor. When you set it to never did the problem remain?
