    UPDATE:

I restored back to July 18th, with a Macrium Reflect image (I always have weekly images - for past 6 weeks), when the 10.18.10.5069 version was installed. The reason I need to upgrade or downgrade this version is because I suspect that the installation is a false positive. Because although it seems to be installed correctly, and even in EDIUS I am able to select "Hardware Acceleration" (which can only be selected with Intel Graphics installed), the export time is VERY long - as if there is no Intel Graphics Acceleration.

I started a thread about this on the Edius forums which you can read here: Very long export even with hardware encoder -

    Grass Valley Forums

The gurus there were not able to find a solution yet and that's why I suspect a false positive install.

So, now, when I try to install any other driver version, I'm back to where I started from - with the installation starting and then the error "directory name is invalid."

Attached is a screenshot of the current installed version (which as mentioned, does not really work for my EDIUS needs) and the newer version I am trying to install, right before I click next and get the error.

Also, on the Edius forums, someone said that I must see two GPU entries as seen in attached - which I don't. I don't even have ONE GPU in my task manager performance tab. (attached screenshots)

I will keep Googling and researching as I really don't want to do the nuclear approach mentioned here (clean install)

Found this thread while looking for something else, but wondering if you ever found a solution the problem. I also have a gen 3 core cpu and a possible driver update in the future.
    Thx.
