    N246v Monitor Resolution


    I have an old sve14135cxb laptop that I use in my office. The screen on it was yellowish so it sits on a keyboard try beneath my desk and I use a N246v monitor for viewing. However, each time I boot, the machine uses the native laptop resolution of 1366x768 instead of the monitors native resolution of 1920x1080. So I have to reach down, open the lid on the laptop for about 2 seconds then let it close, at which time it will correct itself to the monitors resolution.

    Is there anyway to make it boot to the monitors resolution? The monitor stays connected to the HDMI port.
    Is there anyway of refreshing it other than opening the laptop lid?

    You lost me on that one, you mean like a FN key? If so I don't see one. I can make it brighter and dimmer but don't see disable.
