    Good day.

I would run DDU again in safe mode and then let Windows Update check drivers. I have even older ATI HD cards working under Windows 10 v2004. For these older cards, newer drivers don't work at all even if they seemingly install fine. Just use Windows Update driver dated around 2015. Do not use any other driver, specially those offered by "driver installers".

Long story short you are down to installing Crimson driver 16.6.2 and below , basically Windows have changed things long ago that should have rendered all the 5xxx HD series not working past that version of the driver , however they magically worked for some owners (Where rumors has it those were the ones who upgraded from Windows 7/8 to 10 where their OSes managed to hold on to certain Dll files that helped some) , but it seems lately all sorts of glitching surfaced for the HD series again , consider yourself lucky attempting to install the Adrenalin driver did not let you into a freeze then a crash then a boot loop .

It might also be useful to replace that 5770 ... if you do anything that requires more than 2D graphics capability.

I had that card in a desktop that I bought in 2010. It was more or less middle-of-the-road at that time. Now, ten years later, it's a dog.

lolololol I had this card back in like 2009 haha when i went AMD Phenom crazy how time flys haha i think i even had two in crossfire using windows 7

I doubt people who are on old hardware are on it just because nobody had advised them yet to upgrade .

And in times like these we are in with more people being laid off and/or denied their source of income we need to show more understanding or be compassionate at least .

You mistake my lol for laughing at that person not the case i am just remembering the time i have had those cards

The fact anyone has been able to keep that card going for that long is short of amazing and sometimes it isn't a budget issue people just don't find it worth doing if it works

Most people don't upgrade for years if what they do on it works and most people just chat and websurf so him being with a card like that for so long suggest he wasn't really doing anything that would need more power which proves most likely it wasn't a big deal till it stop working
