    Hi All

Again, thanks for all your replies. I've made up my mind on the graphics cards now and I'll go for the SUPER. Between you all you've helped greatly in my decision and I greatly appreciate that. Thanks very much. At least I'm now aware of what RTX is even if it doesn't really mean too much to me.

RTX is basically handing all Mirror effect to the GPU allowing for smoother reflections , you see if a scene has a pond of water the pond should reflect the entire scene just mirrored (that's literally just rendering the scene twice just for the sake of that pond) , this could be very hardware intensive effect but some how they were able to integrate it as a function in GPUs to help it perform faster just by certain calls and not having to send out same data twice to the GPU . Honestly the future is here already and probably all new titles will just support it as a default and you probably will see a lot of mirrors , puddles and ponds floating around soon more than convenient rendering all current GTXs struggling to keep up (I'm expecting the next Grand Theft Auto to have a puddle around every corner , polished cars and more windows and mirrors to break rendering all those beautiful Super GTX GPUs obsolete sooner than expected or proud owners will have to tune down their graphics to keep up...) , so If someone is considering buying a GPU now a days I would still recommend they'd go for RTX as it would buy them sometime before next upgrade .

Had a 1660 Super for nearly half a year and I've got to say, for the price it is an amazing video card with awesome performance, plays everything I need at 60fps max settings at 2k (2560x1440)
