    I doubt it though...,

    I never had these problems on 1903...

    Thank You. I guess we'll wait and see if it crops up again with the DVI HDMI cable install. "I know I did mention it but I didn't run the cable until now" Sorry for resurrecting an old post.. But it gives reference.

    I have a monitor that will turn green or red at power up on occasion, but I can still boot into Windows just fine. The solution for me is to power cycle the monitor. The monitor is getting a little old so it's starting to fail. That could be your problem, but I am wondering why the computer fails to boot when this happens. HDMI and DP are two way connections. Perhaps it is somehow locking up the GPU. That may prevent bootup.

    Why not use a completely different connector like DisplayPort to bypass any issues with bad HDMI connections on either the GPU or monitor?
