I have a big resolution problem

I use my 1080p TV as a monitor and I noticed that the picture wasn't scaled to the screen correctly and that in Windows Display settings the resolution was 1400 x 900. Now everything on the screen is stretched out. Here are Nvidea settings that I adjusted to:

The resolution in Display settings is also 1400 x 1050

According to your specs your monitor Max refresh rate is 60 Hz (Source Here :Vizio VS420LF1A Specs - CNET)

Increasing your refresh rate to 75 Hz may work on some monitors with 60Hz cap at the expense of lowering down maximum resolution .

So if you want the FHD resolution (1920) your TV/Monitor to work you may have to lower your GPU refresh rate to match it .

Are you extending or duplicating the displays? If duplicating you can't set them any higher than the resolution of the lowest display.

If extending and it is still happening than a quick look at the manual,

Rear Panel Connections - Vizio VS420LF User Manual [Page 11] | ManualsLib

says to use the PC input on the TV, which looks to be a VGA connection.
