I need help to change my project setting

I have broken display on my notebook, so Iam using second monitor conecte by hdmi-dvi. I' ve started my notebook in save mode and I probabbly need to do some start up, but I cant see nothing on my display. I need to change my project setting.. if i press windows+p for these settings I can se that the options are opened, but if i try to change it (I cant see what iam doing) by pressing page down/page up/tab and enter, nothing happends

Can you help me?

If you can tell the Windows key p is opening ten press the down error once, then enter. If that doesn't work open again, down error once more and enter.

If i press enter, to options are still opedned ( i think that pannel on left.. just nothing

You have to go down one or up one. If panel opens and you hit enter you are just confirming current selection.

I am pressing up and down.. ive tried tab too, but nothing happens

Did you ever have this working?

I ask as maybe the electronics can't sense or make the necessary connections to make the change with the way screen is damaged.

Just thinking out loud, I wonder what would happen if you opened laptop and disconnected display?

Let's see if another member has a much better idea.

Thank you.. It worked today, Ive just started it in that safe mode today..
It seems like there is only 1 monitor option

Great, in safe mode you are using the basic Windows video driver, not the driver for whatever graphics adapter is integrated into machine.

If you need to repeat the WinKey+P sequence again, you can use this as it's less mistake-prone

1 Wait until you believe that the computer has completed booting & is therefore ready to accept keyboard actions
2 Press-WinKey+P-
3 Press the-End- key on your keyboard
4 Press the-Return-key

These actions set your computer to display on the external monitor.
