Disable Samsung Monitor's Shortcut Button Screen (OSD Menu) Popup

I have a Samsung SF350 27 Inch LED Monitor, and every time I go to the computer after the display has gone to sleep, it pops up an annoying Shortcut Button Screen (OSD Menu) for about 10 seconds. I don't need it to pop up every time it wakes from sleep.

Is there any way to disable it?
I have gone through the settings, but I can't see anything.

Stigg, I don't ultimately know the answer to that question. The closest thing that I could find in the user guide is on page 32 where it describes how to set the length of time that the OSD is displayed before it times out. Hopefully at the very least there might be a way to lessen how long it is displayed.

If no one here has a better answer for you, you might try asking this on a Samsung forum since that setting would ultimately need to be made from the monitor itself.

It's an OSD message so it has to be addressed thru monitor's menu. OS, BIOS and GPU have nothing to do with that.

Thanks for all your input, guys.

Unfortunately, the "Display Time" setting only affects the main menu when you access it.
It doesn't affect the auto pop menu. I have already tried it.

    I agree with you, Mike.

I didn't post this thread in the "Graphics Card" section. It has nothing to do with graphics cards. Someone moved it, for some strange reason. I originally posted it in the "Drivers and Hardware" section. Less likely to get help in this section.

What's even stranger. There are other monitor questions in the "Drivers and Hardware" section, and they didn't get moved.

Well, Samsung Support finally sent me a firmware fix for this.
It took them a long time. I have already replaced the monitor. It was driving me insane.

I still can't understand how this monitor would have passed testing and inspection prior to it being released working in this manner.
