@Mnm80, I did what werty said and installed HD3000 drivers intended for Windows 8.1 and it worked perfectly. You'll have to set Windows Update to NOT update the drivers though or it will automatically replace it with the Windows 10 version again. When I got the Windows 8.1 driver in there, I was able to use all the HD3000 features on Windows 10.

I find something strange in your setup. I am actually in the process of buying a PE4H/PE4L so I can install a GPU on my laptop through its ExpressCard-34 slot. I have an RTX coming and I need to use my current GTX1050 somewhere. If I am right, you are supposed to use eGPU with an external monitor.

Yes, exp gdc 8.5 egpu with pcie connection from wifi slot I use gtx750 ti on external display . But also with nvida Optimus while playing physics use egpu on internal display as I early mentioned. A little more loss in fps with internal than external display. I still trying for different configurations

@Mnm80, from here: Download Intel(R) Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.28]

Pick the ZIP file and extract it somewhere in your hard drive and use Device Manager to force Windows 10 to use the 8.1 driver. But before all this, make sure you disable Windows 10 auto-update driver feature in Windows Update. You can Google that - it's very easy. I do not recommend you do this on newer PCs though, just old ones.

Your initial post was about wanting a driver that supports directx 11 and now you say the older driver that was released pre directx 11 was invented by several years works perfect ? perfect to what sense ?

P.S The driver found on MS Catalog is fully featured Intel made driver just released for Microsoft to distribute which is common for several Intel GPUs that was not deemed legacy by the time Windows 10 was released .
