    Normal for my GTX 1080 to boost to 2000 mhz?


    Hey gang,

    I have a gigabyte GTX 1080 g1 gaming GPU. I just reformated my PC. This happened on both 1909 and 2004 ver. I gave Nvidia 446 ver driver, Gigabyte extreme program installed and it's set at 1700 mhz. Is it normal for the card to boast past the set clock and go to 2000 mhz? I never noticed this before and I have had the card since it was first released. Thanks.
