Plex will work on TV if I have the app launched and will work with Firefox.

Problem is this will work fine for watching shows or movies.
I need to figure out how to broadcast browser, game , desktop etc .
If you had a Mac, you could just do Airplay. Otherwise you will need to cast with the TV/Cast app on your tv. Only the 2019 Sammy’s have a native form of allowing Windows 10 to use it as a wireless external monitor.

I do not have wireless on my desktop PC, This is what I am trying to broadcast from.
Network is connected to everything (and set correctly). Miracast is an option if I connect a wireless adapter.
There should be a way to show desktop on the TV. without miracast, since youtube and plex can show on there.

Loaded a wireless network adapter. Some things are working some are not.
Would like to do wired , but will see if this works
You do not need wireless on your tv, only that both the tv and computer are on the same network.

Samsung TV sees my PC as a media center and it shows the playon server as well. But when clicking on those source options it only lets me see files. This is though the wired network.

You would think Chrome browser would be able to cast more then youtube but it doesnt let me do anything besides that.

Looks like samsung smartview is an option.

I decided to give up on this , Steamlink seems to be the best option.
So just going to stick with that.
