Is this amount of front I/O incline normal?

I've been having problems with my GPU (EVGA 2070 Super XC) and it's been a weird one all over the place. One second it works perfectly fine, next second it won't even POST, idk anymore. I decided to take a look at the physical card itself and I noticed an absurdly abnormal incline with the front i/o shield, definitely didn't seem to be perpendicular to the back panel. I'm not 100% sure as to if this is the reasoning behind all these issues, but if it is, then I have no idea on how to fix it?

ok update, I do believe this is being a cause for issue. If I apply downwards pressure to the bottom right of the card (top right when it's inserted to the system) I can get the system to post fine and work fine, but otherwise it will never post. I found a temporary solution by attaching some dental floss to that side and sticking it to the bottom of my case, which seems to work albeit pretty inconsistent. Usually works perfectly fine for a day or 2 and then without touching anything it suddenly stops working anymore (I assume it could be the tension is shifting something)

A video/graphics card should fit the slot relatively easy then lock into place but the end with the monitor cable sockets also have to fit properly to get everything seated.

Mounting wise, it’s completely fine, as in it fits on the pci slot, the screws align etc. Honestly just looking at it regularly you’d think there is nothing physically wrong with the card. The only noticeable thing is when connecting DisplayPort/HDMI slots, its a bit slanted compared to a straight insertion.

It’s weird cause when booting, fans spin up, led lights up and it has all the signs of it working but no post. It’s only pressing down on that spot (as I mentioned top right on a horizontal mount) that seems to get it posting

Yea makes sense . Unfortunately the best I can provide is only photos but that can only give so much



One thing I did notice is that if I lay the card on its back plate, I can press down on the sides that are bent up and the card returns to what I assume is how it should look like, but I’ve yet to find a way to make that change stick (as it goes back to being bent once I let go)

Have you contacted EVGA support/forum about the bent/twisted PCB (doesn't seem normal to me).
Could be that the bend/twist is causing a contact break (in the pcb wiring/tracing ?).

Haven’t contacted them yet, but will try. I’m thinking the same about the bending. I’ve tried lots of diagnostics like different levels of insertion, tightness on the screws, sagging etc, yet it’s only the downwards pressure method that yielded the most consistent results which is really making me believe that this bending is somewhat if not the culprit

Of what exactly? I’ve already provided some photos in the OP, but if you need any shots specifically I can try to take them

The PCB at the video sockets end is twisted relative to the rest of it (towards centre at top and away from centre at the bottom). Whilst a PCB can bend slightly, that looks excessive.

Seems to be due to the metal L bracket with the video sockets being somewhat out of tolerance.

Difficult to tell without being hands on.

It would not be acceptable quality for me.
