I have an old dell running Windows 7 32bit. I tried to up grad with media creator to Windows 10. Says my video card is incompatible. GeForce 6150se nforce 430. I can't find a driver for it, does anyone know of a driver that will work with Windows 10? It is a dell Inspiron 531 with Windows 7 home premium. Thanks for any help.
The latest drivers that I have found for that old chipset are at the Microsoft Update catalog.

I suggest the WDDM 1.1 drivers, version 9.18.13.908. You don't say whether you need 32 bit or 64 bit drivers. (The larger package is the 64 bit one.)
Unfortunately they are .cab (cabinet) files, so installing them takes extra work. Install CAB file in Windows 10
As an alternative, you may be able to use the Media Creation Tool to make a USB flash drive with the installer on it. Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10 I'm not certain, but I believe that the install will run and give you the Microsoft Basic display driver. I hope that Windows Update will give you a proper driver, after.

If you can get all the drivers that you need, Windows 10 should be OK.
One caveat: some older systems won't run 64 bit Windows 10 because of some fairly obscure CPU features that Microsoft started requiring for Windows 8.1 and newer. I say "obscure" because they don't appear on the basic hardware requirements list.

A few years ago, I got an old (2008) laptop to Windows 10 X64. (The 32 bit version would have been a more natural match, but I needed X64 to run one program.) I had to manually install the chipset driver, but other than that it was easy, and it ran well. (As well as Win7. The laptop came with Vista.) If your old machine runs acceptably with Windows 7, it ought to be OK with 10.
I'm not the best person to ask whether you should buy a new PC. My desktop machines are home assembled, and I pine away if I can't do a motherboard/CPU upgrade about every 18 months.At the moment, both of my desktops are both AMD based, for the first time in my personal history.
They are the same version as the Microsoft Update Catalog ones. They are easier to install, though.

I see that you build your own computers. I have built four computers, nothing special. This one was given to me so I decided to try out win 10. I have xp on 2 machines and 7 on two also. Thank you for your help.
