resolution issue with27" philips display monitor

Hi, I have just upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 and cannot get my monitor to have the resolution of 1020x1080 as recommended Philips 273v7qdsb/79 27". Screen appears stretched. Have upgraded the adapter driver and the monitor driver. No luck, No option on Windows 10 Display settings. Thankyou .

Lets see you system specs, System Info See Your System Specs Windows 7 Help Forums Run the app to collect your system Info. In this forum click Settings at the top right of the page and then click My Settings on the left and select "Edit System Spec" and fill the field. Your card may be incompatible. I don't know.

Yes, that screen will be stretched using that setting when the usual setting will be an aspect ratio of 16x9 or 16x10 such as 1440x900. There should be a Menu button on the monitor used to adjust settings followed by whatever Windows can do. I'd go with the default shown in that menu, it's similar to TVs of the last 20 or more years.

I just checked the specs and the recommended resolution is 1920 X 1080. Still need your specs though.
