I have a question regarding windows 10 and its sound engine. So I am not a windows genius and would appreciate if you guys could dumb it down a bit. Is it possible to create virtual soundcards within windows 10? If so, would I be able to for instance do an fx send return using serato dj and Roland dj 808?
Hello, there is audio software out there that allows for better internal routing of audio. For example you get set one audio input to play out of two or more outputs. Not a standard thing in Windows, probably because there is different latency on each output. The software is called Audio Router.
I assume you would need actual hardware inputs for your audio gear. I use an audio interface for things like that. It's a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, had it for over ten years. Did you want to do anything to signal when it is returned?
